Our Story
How Manasum is redefining senior living in India.
Manasum Senior Living was founded in 2015 in Bengaluru with a single, clear mission: to transform the way India thinks about senior living. The word 'Manasum' — rooted in Sanskrit — means 'the mind that is content and joyful.' It perfectly captures what we set out to create: a place where seniors do not just reside, but truly thrive.
Our founders recognised a growing gap in the Indian market. As nuclear families became the norm and younger generations moved to different cities, India's senior population was increasingly left without adequate support, social engagement, or purpose-driven living environments. Manasum was the answer.
Starting with Avighna in South Bengaluru — a 110-unit purpose-built community that sold out within months — Manasum has since grown into a multi-city, multi-community powerhouse. Today, we partner with iconic developers such as TATA, Godrej, Foundations Group, Surya Projects, and Signature Global; we operate in Bengaluru, Goa, Tirupati, and Mysuru; and we have projects underway in North Bengaluru (Devanahalli), Gurugram (Delhi NCR), GIFT City (Gujarat), Pune, and Mangaluru.

He served as Executive Director at BNI Bangalore, where he mentored more than 20,000 entrepreneurs. Today, he is helping shape a new approach to senior living, with a vision to build India's most trusted senior living brand.
